The Cotton District Grill is my favorite place on the planet. Not only is the staff extremely friendly and attractive, the food is incredible and edible. A relaxing atmosphere in the afternoon soon changes into a funky good time when the lights go down and the clothes come off. I love this place.

As long as I have lived in Starkville, the Grill has always been my favorite place to go. The staff has always been very cordial and attentive, the food is excellent, and the draft beer selection is the best in town! While I'm going to miss its location, I'm excited about the opening of Central Station!!

This place is a place in need of an identity. It looks like the owners want it to be an Applebees, it used to be a college bar. The place is clean, beer is cold and it's in a close to MSU location. The rest of the experience is just, well....alright.

I love the atmosphere, it's really laid back. The service is friendly and the management staff seems really professional. By far the best beer selection in town. I come for the burgers but stay for the beer. Always my first choice when dining out.

Best beer selection in town. 16 foriegn and domestic beers on draft. TV's everywhere. Awesome music. Amazing food and a menu that is 99% under 14 bucks...This place is the best spot in town!

The Grill is a great location for watching MSU games because they have a large bar area where you can almost always find a spot in line with a television. Recently they've updated their draft beer selection, and they now have one of the better selections in town. Try the Dead Guy--it's fantastic and only available here.

I really like the Grill. The atmosphere is nothing special (it's a bar and grill, after all), but it's nice enough, and the food is much better than it has to be. The chicken panini is delicious, as is the parmesan crusted chicken. I've yet to have a disappointing meal there.

Okay, so if all they sold was cheese sticks, I'd still go. My real favorite, however, is the pesto chicken ceasar salad, a disk that, if you described it to me, I'd call you mad. It takes a certain amount of genius to combine a ceasar salad and a pesto pasta salad.
Normally, this would be enough for four stars, but once, my pesto ceasar was far too oily. Someone asked how I was doing, I told them, that salad was fixed and I got a coupon good for another salad later. And there's that fifth star: excellent service.

The Cotton District Grill is the best place to watch the MSU Bulldogs, grab a beer (largest tap selection in town) and eat a burger or anything else on the menu. For the vegetarians out there, they have a great veggie burger. It's not listed on the menu but you can request it. I get it every time!

The one that caught my eye was the the Baja Fish Tacos. The fish is grilled Mahi Mahi and it is delicious. The salsa, served on the side, goes perfectly with it.
What I didn't care for was the side of chips covered in a cheese sauce that coats your teeth and stays with you far longer than the taste of the entrée.

I love their salmon and mashed potatoes. The sauce for their fish is just right!

While the food used to be a bit run of the mill for such a restaurant, the new menu has lots to offer, including crab-stuffed wontons and fish tacos and even a veggie burger. Plus, in this avid cheese fan's opinion, the spicy cheese sticks with Panko breadcrumbs are the best. Service is always spot-on friendly. The draft beer selection isn't so great, but did I mention the cheese sticks?
