The 3rd Annual Johnny Cash Flower Pickin' Festival kicks off this Friday evening with a screening of the new documentary Johnny Cash At Folsom Prison at Grumpy's where you can enjoy a Starkville City Jail Burger under the stars with live music from Southern Sounds and Poacher. The music continues all day Saturday on the various stages at Rick's Café. You can see the entire schedule at pardonjohnnycash.com, but what I want to tell you about is where it will all wrap up...
New to the festival this year is the Sunday Redemption Brunch hosted by Barrister's featuring live music from Starkville's own Nash Street! $15 per person gets you a fantastic brunch menu by Chef Ty Thames including tea, coffee, bloody marys or mimosa, and a great big heaping portion of redemption. Get it while it's hot! |
